little mistake - Guild Wars Forums

i bought "Guild Wars?? (Prophecies??? campaign)" from website, but i havent original guild wars? i hope what i bought is not only new campaign? i mean it includes original game right? i will download the client and without any other fees i'll play the guild wars? sorry for english.

Prophecies IS the original GW.

and yes you only have to pay for GW once.

Prophecies is the original Campaign, you made the correct purchase...

GW (Guild Wars) has 3 campaigns and 1 expansion. The campaigns came in the following order:

Prophecies (This is the original game and the first campaign)
Factions
Nightfall

The expansion is Eye of the North.

So yes, without any other fees, you should be able to play guild wars.

You *will* have to buy Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North individually, though, if you decide you want them... But Prophecies/original Guild Wars is a good start. Welcome aboard.

I though you could buy the complete collection/trilogy and add that to your account? That would probably be cheaper than buying Fac+NF(+EOTN) individually.

Prophecies : $19.99
Factions, NIghtfall and EOTN : $29.99 each

For the Trilogy : $49.99

I might add that since Prophecies is the original campaign, it is by far the one with the best learning curve for new players,- so, you are starting the right place from my perspective.
